Registration of trademarks in the European Union (EU) - MARQUES vision

MARQUES is an Association, which helps the brand owners with registration of trademarks in the European Union (EU) and worldwide. The Association was founded in 1986. (http://www.marques.org/).

We have been members of MARQUES for more than 20 years – since 1996.

MARQUES headquarters is located in England, however they have representatives also in others countries. One of the largest MARQUES teams is located in China. This team is assisting brand owners with trademark registration in the European Union.

MARQUES membership covers issues from various industry aspects and includes brand owners and trademark professionals from more than 80 countries around the world also in the EU. Today there are approximately 650 MARQUES members.

MARQUES is a well-run and well organized association, providing a solid foundation upon which to represent Trademark owners in the European Union.

MARQUES mission is to be the trusted voice for trademark owners in the EU, to educate in the selection, management and exploitation of IP rights, while offering a platform for the exchange of the best practices.

MARQUES regularly organizes meetings about design, patents and trademark registration in the European Union. The next planned meeting of MARQUES is Spring Team Meeting in Geneva, Switzerland Thursday 2^nd – Friday 3^rd March 2017. (http://www.marques.org/conferences/20170302/)
